Proposal : Ross & Lauren : Fort Worth Water Gardens

Lauren said yes! 

I could not be happier for these two lovebirds. I've known Lauren since college, taught her how to swing dance, and while she has always been a bubbly soul, I've never seen her happier than she has been since Ross came into her life. 

A week before their third anniversary dating, Ross emailed me to as me if I would be there to photograph him proposing to Lauren. I screamed! Of course! I was so excited! Apparently he had the whole thing planned out and besides the parents, I was the only other person who knew what was going to happen. Lauren had no idea!

I arrived early, scoped out my secret-hide-out-in-the-open spot, donned my sunglasses and ballcap (I never wear these two things...) and waited patiently. As soon as Ross was in position, I called his cell to give him the OK and he dropped his knee! Woohoo! Ohmygoodness I was shaking with excitement! The backdrop couldn't have been prettier either. 

Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. McGarrah!

You're in a good spot, Ross, you can ask whenever you're ready! *this is when I called his phone.

 And this is when Lauren realized it was Me! So surprised.

Proposal : Curt & Sherilyn

Oh these two are so in love! You can tell by the way they look at each other. 

Two days before "the big event" I received an email from Curt and he shared with me the story of how he and Sherilyn met six months earlier. It was love at first sight. *swoon!* Curt told me about his plan to take her back to the spot they shared their first date and fell in love and propose to her on the very chair they also shared! So sweet!!!!

Showtime was set for between 6:10 pm and  6:15 pm at The Library Bar in the Warwick Melrose Hotel so I arrived early to scope out the place, meet the bar manager and make sure everyone knew to NOT sit in this one chair! (Also to let the bar staff know to keep the lights up long enough for me to capture this!)

They ran a bit late but everyone was totally on board and it couldn't have been better planned!

These two were precious!  Congratulations and Happy Valentine's Day to remember for these two!

Proposal Session : Michael & Rosy

Michael and Rosy, you two are picture perfect! 

On Friday afternoon, the day before Michael was going to ask his girlfriend of 2 years, Rosy, to marry him, he gave me a call to come out and photograph the moment. "She's always getting on me for not taking photos of us together!" he said to me over the phone. "Well," I replied, "you almost forgot!" Haha!

I arrived early at the Fort Worth Water Gardens to "blend into the crowd" and it was easy to spot these two as they walked in to the gardens. They glowed with such happiness!

Michael and I met in college and he is such a generous and genuine person. Rosy, who I first met that night, is a lucky lady to have found Michael (though I think Michael is the luckier one to have Rosy!). She has such a beautiful energy about her too - these two are destined for each other.

I wish the two of you the best of luck on your future together!
