Family : Olsen & Church Family

There is a special love I have for this family - this little girl especially. Little Kiran is my niece! This little girl is a wide-eyed beauty and I just love her! My sister, Lindsay is an amazing momma who juggles school, work AND being a mom. *applause*  Mike is a jack of all trades - if you need it fixed, he can and will fix it!

When we went out to do their family holiday portraits, I had a dream of their portrait session and how awesome it would be (and it was). :) Lindsay cried, laughed and had a permanent smile on her face when I delivered their portraits. I just LOVE making people happy.

Maternity Session : Jessica S

Meet the Siri Family! Jessica has quickly become one of my closest friends. Our families are in sync too! Our daughters are only 3 months apart in age and are absolutely best friends. And our sons will be 5 months apart in age! (JP due April, my Jackson will be born this September).

I absolutely adore this family and am so blessed we can grow together in our journey as parents!

6 Months : Riley

Mr. Riley has got to be the luckiest little man I've met so far! He has two beautiful and loving mama's and just watching this boy smile, you just know without a doubt he is loved beyond words! I've had the joy of photographing him as he was only one month new, now 6 months and, while I'm very behind in blogging...., he's going to be a year old in a couple of months!

We had a beautiful morning at the park and we found out Riley prefers to be nude. Aren't most boys like that anyway? Haha!  He had a blast at the end of his portrait session getting covered in kisses!

I just LOVE this family!

Nursing Session : Cassandra & Lily

I absolutely love capturing such important times in a family's life. A mother nursing her child. I am so honored that this beautiful mother is so inspired by my journey in breastfeeding that she wants her daughter to self-wean, just as my daughter will, and not stop at a year! Cassandra is such a good friend and I am so happy I am her personal photographer! You can check out her maternity and Lily's newborn session too!

Did you know...
The majority of women in America only nurse their children 3-6 months.
One year is the average goal of a new breastfeeding mother.
Two years is what the World Health Organization recommends a child be breastfed.

Give this lovely mama a big high five, as I write this, her sweet little lady is 8 months breastfed! Congratulations, beautiful!

Newborn Session : Vera (10 days)

Little Vera (Vee-ra) is the sweetest little lady and so pretty! And so are her parents! I was fortunate enough to get to cuddle and play with her at 10 days! She was super hungry the whole time I visited (as growing boys and girls do) but we managed to get in some excellent moments between sips and burps.

Vera wanted to play her whole session and so I got lots of yummy pictures of her toes as she wiggled through the wraps!
